Purpose of Trust Fund :
To help those in second chance learning who are in financial difficulty and who do not have good qualifications.
Trust Fund Policy:
The Trust is not limited to assisting church people. It will support individuals who are attending courses which will help them for employment by providing small grants towards the cost of books and equipment.

The Anglican Diocese of Liverpool (which includes Southport, Wigan, Ormskirk, Widnes, Skelmersdale, Kirkby, St. Helens and Warrington)
Nature of Grants:
Due to the restriction of funds, the grants are likely to be in the region of £100. Higher grants are exceptional.

No one under the age of 21, no one with a good vocational qualification or a degree, no repeat grants, no organisations
Method of Application:
Application forms are available from St James House, or by letter giving details of age and course details. All applicants are required to have short informal discussion which takes place at the college or training facility they are attending. All applicants must supply two references, one of which must be on original college/training centre headed notepaper confirming that they are attending a course (photocopies will not be accepted).
