Purpose of Trust Fund :
To further the religious and other charitable work of individual Methodist Churchs or Circuits or the Methodist Church in genereal or the work of such other Christian Church or Churches as the Trustees shall from time to time think proper; to relieve persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by reason of their social and economic circumstances; to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the area of benefit and in particular the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty distress and sickness.

Trust Fund Policy:
The charity has continued to make charitable donations of a one-off or recurring nature largely to the mainstream Christian churches on Merseyside for outreach community work and in particular to support the payment of salaries for additional staff and resources other than ordained staff. The Trust wishes to encourage imaginative Christian outreach work to those both inside and outside the Christian churches on Merseyside and to assist Christian organisations to be effective in their work.
