Purpose of Trust Fund :
To relieve poor children up to the age of seventeen years whose parents or one of whose parents are members of the Church of England and who reside in the former county borough of Birkenhead. Preference shall be give to poor children whose parents reside in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Christ Church, Birkenhead.

Up to £250, mostly around £100. Examples included beds and bedding, clothing, furniture and trips

Restrictions:
The trust cannot help with; applications from outside the former County Borough of Birkenhead; young people over 17 years; school fees; overseas travel or overseas holidays. Only in very exceptional circumstances will the Trust help with arrears.

Method of Application:
Applications should be by letter via a third party (such as a health visitor, doctor, minister of religion, teacher, social worker, housing officer, etc) and addressed to the Correspondent. Applicants may be visited by one of the Trustees. All applications are acknowledged.
