Purpose of Trust Fund :
Our Purpose is to improve the quality of life of people suffering disadvantage and discrimination. We aim to achieve this through making grants to strengthen voluntary sector organisations which serve them directly or indirectly and by the added value we bring to this.

Trust Fund Policy:
We have specific grants programmes concerned with strengthening the voluntary sector, international development and the arts.

Strengthening the Voluntary Sector - independence programme 2010
The 2010 programme focuses on legal advice and advocacy organisations. This continues the focus established in 2008. New grants were awarded in July 2010. Please see website for news about the programme and details of the publications arising out of the work.

The Joint International Development programme 2010
The application deadline for the Joint International Development programme 2010, in collaboration with the John Ellerman Foundation, has passed. New grants will be awarded in October.

Arts programme 2011
Information about the Arts programme 2011 will be available on the website from the end of September 2010 at the earliest.

We are also working on special initiatives which include: creating a better deal for parents with learning difficulties, interculturality and climate change.
