Purpose of Trust Fund :
The Trust gives grants and provides information to individuals from over 120 different occupations and backgrounds who can no longer work through physical or mental health problems, loss of work or family breakdown or those struggling on inadequate income in retirement.

Trust Fund Policy:
Individuals:
- Over 18 years old
- British or Irish nationality
- Living on a low income and with less than 4,000 pounds in savings
- From one of 120 different professional occupations such as teachers, nurses, senior managers, musicians etc.

Nature of Grants:
a) One-off grants - contributions towards the cost of such items as wheelchairs, central heating boilers, essential household repairs etc.
b) Regular Support - regular allowance not exceeding 20 pounds per week; Extra-needs gift (with savings of less than 3000 pounds) for items not covered by benefits
c) Top-ups - Up to 100 pounds per week for people living in residential or nursing homes with capital of less than 12250 pounds
