Purpose of Trust Fund :
To give grants to organisations working with disadvantaged children and young people, aged 18 and under, living in the UK. Please see our website for more information

Trust Fund Policy:
Any size of grant considered. Priorities include illness, distress, abuse or neglect, disability, behavioural or psychological problems, poverty and deprivation.
Grants are given for capital projects, seasonal projects (e.g. holiday playschemes), holidays and outings, equipment and welfare funds.

Nature of Grants:
General Grants Programme: open to organisations working with disadvantaged children and young people who are 18 years old and under. Your organisation and project must be based in the UK and you need to be a registered charity or other not-for-profit organisation. Within our general grants programme, you can apply for:
Small Grants of £10,000 or less per year for up to three years
Main Grants over £10,000 per year for up to three years

Restrictions:
Applicants must be properly constituted registered charities or voluntary organisations working with children aged 18 and under. Organisations must have a bank account, two unrelated cheque signatories, annual accounts, a governing document and a management committee.

Exclusions:
Trips or projects abroad, medical treatment or research, unspecified expenditure, deficit funding or repayment of loans, retrospective funding, projects unable to start within 12 months, distribution to another or other organisation(s), general appeals or endowment funds, the relief of statutory responsibilities.
